Itinerary Emilia Ovest – Serramazzoni-Pavullo

From the center of Serramazzoni you descend along a section of the Via Vandelli, crossing grasslands from which you can admire wide views, both towards the south (the Tuscan-Emilian ridge that heralds challenging climbs), and northward (the great plain crossed in the previous days and, if the day is clear, even the Venetian Prealps, from which we started). This variant and the other arrive finally to Pavullo, where they reunite: the two routes resume the routes, eastern and western, on which there were direct roads to the Apennine crossed in Roman times.
